Most patients receiving the treatment report symptoms such as cold-like symptoms and muscle pain. These symptoms are more likely related to the treatment process through spinal manipulation rather than side effects of the medication. Therefore, if such symptoms occur after treatment, the attending physicians often prescribe appropriate medication to alleviate the symptoms.

Many other patients are known to undergo concurrent administration of medications at regular intervals. However, coordinating the simultaneous administration of both medications may require some adjustments. It would be advisable to discuss this with the doctors at the university hospital to make the appropriate arrangements.

Unfortunately, if the patient is infected with Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, or syphilis viruses, we regret to inform you that treatment cannot proceed. Additionally, if the virus test shows positive reactions for CMV IgM, EBV IgM, or Herpes IgM, further confirmation is required through additional virus PCR testing.

IgM antibodies are temporary and can disappear within weeks to months to be replaced by IgG. If the patient still tests positive after PCR testing, we recommend retesting for the virus after several months.

The attending medical team will review the patient's medical records and discuss in advance. There are no specific medications that need to be stopped for stem cell therapy. However, if the patient is taking anticoagulants or aspirin, it is advisable to discontinue them at least 7 days before bone marrow extraction to prevent bleeding. Therefore, if the patient is taking either of these medications, please consult with a specialist regarding discontinuation for one week.

Yes, the patient needs to come to Korea. The patient's cerebrospinal fluid needs to be collected the day before the injection, and it needs to be mixed with the cord blood stem cells. The final stem cell product is administered via the spinal canal, requiring hospitalization, and the procedure cannot be performed overseas.

You are free to fly after being discharged. However, we recommend waiting a day or two before flying to ensure you have adequate rest.
